Grandvalira 2025–2026: a season of innovation, guaranteed snow and the best après-ski at L’Abarset
€39 million to transform the skiing experience in Grandvalira
Grandvalira faces a historic winter with a total investment of €39 million, a figure that demonstrates the resort's commitment to continue improving both infrastructure and services.
One of the cornerstones of this is the guarantee of snow. This season, €11 million are being allocated to improving the snow-making network, including:
- - 53 new cannons.
- - Replacement of 118 units with models that are 90% more efficient.
- - New water reservoirs, including the Llac del Vaquer located in the Grau Roig sector, with a volume of 100,000 m³.
- - Improvements to the course profile to optimize energy and water consumption.
- - A pioneering cooling system in Canillo, which reduces energy consumption by 90%.
These actions ensure optimal conditions even during the most demanding periods of the season, reinforcing Grandvalira's reputation as a reliable and high-quality snow destination.
Mobile Pass: the digital ski pass that revolutionizes access to the slopes
Digitalization takes a leap forward with the launch of the Mobile Pass, the new ski pass that works directly from your mobile phone. Thanks to Bluetooth Low Energy technology, users will be able to access the ski lifts without taking their phone out of their pocket.
To make this possible, Grandvalira has upgraded 244 turnstiles, an investment that translates into more comfort, greater speed and shorter queues. The Mobile Pass will initially be available for ski passes of one to three days, with a phased roll-out throughout the winter.
The app also includes an automatic Wi-Fi button and a digital wallet to manage bookings and services, providing a fully connected experience.
New infrastructure for an even more complete resort
Grandvalira continues to grow with new buildings and improvements aimed at enhancing visitor comfort:
- - Progress on the new multifunctional building in Pas de la Casa, which will open temporary spaces this season.
- - Expansion of the TK Slalom, improvements for beginners and areas adapted to new profiles of skiers.
- - Optimization of courses and services to offer a more modern, accessible and versatile resort.
All these actions raise the overall quality of the resort and provide the perfect setting for ski and snowboard enthusiasts.
L’Abarset: the après-ski that livens up the season
If Grandvalira is synonymous with excitement on the slopes, L’Abarset is the place where the energy continues when the sun goes down. Considered the best après-ski in the Pyrenees, this winter it returns with a top-level musical programme, a renewed gastronomic offering and an atmosphere that combines design, culture and celebration.
L’Abarset has become an essential meeting point for those looking to finish their day with a vibrant, carefully curated and unique mountain experience. Its schedule – packed with international artists and special sessions – promises memorable nights that will make this winter an unforgettable season.
A winter that has it all
The 2025–2026 season in Grandvalira is shaping up to be one of the strongest in recent years: guaranteed snow, advanced technology, new infrastructure and the unmistakable spirit of L’Abarset, which is once again the social and musical reference point of the Andorran winter.
A perfect combination for those looking to enjoy skiing during the day and experience the mountains at night. Are you ready for the most exciting winter ever in Andorra?
